Host Joachim:
My name is Joachim, I studied mechanical engineering and education and I like to tinker and optimize. I am an enthusiastic friend of Jesus, a happy husband and father of three brilliant children. My heart has long beaten for people who are looking for God, for community and for praise. I dreamed of a house where you can live in peace. As if by a miracle of God, we found the house in Hohensall. It is a jewel in which I love to live together with my wife and make it inviting for those seeking peace. I was born in Wolfsburg in 1964 and met my brilliant wife in Stuttgart. Intensive work in youth work in various communities, organizing evening services, holding seminars and praise are some of the many enriching facets of my life.
Host Susanne:
My name is Susanne and I was born in Stuttgart in 1966. That's where I trained as a gardener and pediatric nurse. I really enjoy living in a small hamlet surrounded by beautiful nature.
I love being in an authentic community and opening up our house. I also value and need peace and solitude in nature. My hobbies are cycling and reading.

Our well-renovated, almost 300-year-old farmhouse is a little gem in the Hohenlohe region. It offers a 56 m² holiday apartment in which many people have spent quiet days, a break or simply on holiday. The surrounding area is characterized by a plateau crossed by many valleys. The two rivers Kocher and Jagst give the landscape its character. Fields, forests and streams characterize the rather sparsely populated Hohenlohe.

In the building next door, on the first floor, there is a newly renovated and beautifully furnished prayer room with anteroom. It was completely renovated in 2022 and ceremoniously inaugurated in 2023.
Room & Kitchen
The cozy living room has a stylishly furnished and fully equipped kitchenette. The bedroom is spacious for two people plus a child's bed. There is also an additional single room. The couch in the living room can serve as a bed for one adult or two children. Other amenities: separate entrance door; parking space; central heating; bathroom with shower; small library; various games and puzzles.
Talent & Offer
Our talents are based on our dependence on God as Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. In our house we live a personal relationship with God. We are happy to invite others to experience this with us. By arrangement, we offer our guests personal conversations, prayers and individual blessings with listening prayer. The protection and healing of the heart is particularly important to us.
Our talent is to accompany and encourage people. Jesus' words about the second mile are a vivid image for us: to accompany them part of the way and to encourage them. We want to be a channel for God's love and words.
Our daughter has had a rare metabolic disorder since birth. Through her we have learned that every person has their own story and their own pace and that pressure, stress and fear prevent the personality from unfolding and developing. With this in mind, we have focused on what serves life and what the heart needs.
We think it is very important to learn to pay attention to what the heart says. We want to create space for this by offering relaxation and peace.

We want to ensure a positive atmosphere during your stay. We therefore ask you to discuss any possible restrictions on your part with us. Otherwise, we reserve the right to terminate your desired stay prematurely.
If you arrive by car, there is a free parking space available. Our FamilyHome can also be reached by public transport. The nearest train stations are Neuenstein or Öhringen. You will be picked up at the station.
