I have been working as a physiotherapist for over 30 years with a fascination and interest in human medicine in its entirety of body, soul and spirit. I am also trained as an adventure educator.
I feel happy where two or three are together in HIS name, whether with friends, in the Catholic Eucharist, singing praise, in the Every Nation Bible home group, in silent adoration or at the rosary. I delight in the diversity of living cells in the Body of Christ.
“For just as the body has many parts and each part of the body has its own specific function, so also does the body of Christ” (Rom. 12:4).
Throughout my life, Jesus gave me support and orientation, through a torn childhood - his love that never condemned, never hurt, but was always healing and merciful. From my youth, I had the question within me: "How can it be the love of a heavenly father to subject his beloved son (child) to so much pain without intervening to help?" So I avoided the cross and the father for a long time and with it the deepest Pain within myself - until a severe burnout led me exactly there: the pain of the unloved child and of not being good enough.
In the greatest helplessness and weakness of my life, after years of searching in shamanism and esotericism, I arrived at the cross of Golgotha WITH Jesus, and the incomprehensible grace that is inherent in it! This is how I learned to embrace the cross as a place of redemption, love and restoration!
House & Vicinity
Haus Licht-Blick is in a quiet, rural location about 15 km from Salzburg. The nature around the house invites you to walk and linger. Mountain heights with huts and snacks can be found all around the area. By car you can reach the beautiful Salzkammergut in 30 to 45 minutes and dive into the turquoise and crystal clear lakes. An organic shop with regional products can be reached in 10 minutes on foot, as can a delicious café and pastry shop and two inns.
Prayer room
A steep wooden staircase leads to the gallery of your guest area, the prayer room, also with a bed if you just want to “let yourself fall” into the presence of the grace and love of Jesus or come into the peace of God’s heart in front of the cross.
Wherever you long for healing, for peace and deep inner peace, for arriving within yourself - as the infinitely loved child of God that you are - I am pleased to open my house to you and especially this room.
Room & Kitchen
In your guest area you have a bedroom, a kitchen with a dining table and a couch, both with access to the sunny balcony with a view of the mountains, a gallery with a prayer room and a bathroom. Your rooms face south and so you can fill up on light in every way. You can Let your soul unwind, cradle your body in the hammock on the balcony, let your gaze wander freely to the stars and over meadows to the mountains and dive completely inward in the prayer room on the gallery in front of the cross.
Talents & Offers
As a physiotherapist, I have always been fascinated by the ways of healing in its entirety - and thus the interaction of body, soul and spirit. To better understand and touch the soul through the body and thus accompany people on their path to healing. Because the body often carries the pain of the soul that we cannot (yet) look at. I prefer to work with Jesus, stepping more and more into the background as a person and therapist in order to give HIM the honor, to let HIM work through my hands, my mouth and my heart. Since the stairs to the gallery is very steep, I consider my FamilyHome to be too dangerous for children under 10 and ask for your understanding.

Cost
Each guest should give an amount that corresponds to their abilities and their heart. You can therefore determine your own amount within a range:

Adults minimum €45 to maximum €60 per person per night (€75 to €90 for two people).

Children between 10 and 16 years a minimum of €18 and a maximum of €25 per night.

Before you arrive, we ask you to consider the following: We neither meet the requirements of an anonymous hotel, nor those of a therapeutic facility or a nursing home. We want to ensure positive interaction during your stay. We therefore ask you to discuss any restrictions you may have with us. Otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel your desired stay prematurely.
There is free parking available for those arriving by car. My FamilyHome can also be reached by public transport. The nearest train station is Hallein (Austria). You will be picked up at the train station.
